Panagiotis Diamantis

Musician - Guitar
Panagiotis Diamantis was born in 1989 in Livadeia, Boeotia, where he grew up. His first contact with music began at the age of six, when he started taking bouzouki and harmony lessons at the city's Municipal Conservatory. At the age of eighteen, he moved to Athens to study, where he began working as a musician. The role of the guitar in gramophone folk and traditional music was the catalyst for his involvement with the guitar and its techniques, which continues to this day. Since 2010, he has been teaching guitar lessons and has given seminars on the role of the guitar in folk music and its complex role in small orchestras (Lava music festival, Trio Katara music ensembles, "The guitar in three").
Since 2017, he has been playing the banjo ukulele, a hybrid musical instrument with a very distinctive tone. She has collaborated professionally with many important artists from the folk, traditional, and rebetiko scenes, as well as others, in live performances and in the studio. She is an active member of the musical groups Trio Katara, White Birds Tribute Band, and "Romvia." In March 2023, the first album by the band TRIO KATARA, of which he is a member, was released. His contribution to the album includes original compositions and lyrics.
